Two Interesting Webpages to Visit

While doing research for two different current projects, I came across these pages that have some interesting blackwork pictures on them!

For two women whom I highly regard, I made small tokens for them by hand-stitching linen handkerchiefs and embroidering (blackwork) their initial and a flower (based on a flower pattern on a 16th century Italian sampler at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London) on to the handkerchiefs.
