Another 16th Century Painting with Blackwork Embroidery

While working on research for another project, I came across this painting that I had not seen before and wanted to share it.

It's called A Gentleman in Adoration before the Madonna. It's circa 1560. It was painted by Giovanni Battista Moroni (Italian). This painting is at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
